The mission of Christian Aid and Relief is to reflect Christ’s love and compassion to souls suffering from disasters and hardships. Because of what Christ has freely done for us, we eagerly show we care by offering our time, talents, and treasures to those in need. Christian Aid and Relief enables volunteers to provide humanitarian relief to areas damaged natural disasters and other hardships.
Christian Family Solutions
Christian Family Solutions provides Christian counseling for a wide variety of issues such as depression, substance abuse, PTSD, and other mental health disorders as well as marriage and family problems. In-person counseling, video counseling, intensive outpatient programs, and day treament programs are some of the services they offer. In addition to counseling, they provide in-home care and assisted living for seniors.
Christian Life Resources
Christian Life Resources exists to mobilize Christians to make God-pleasing decisions about life and family issues. They educate people on what God’s Word has to say about the value and sanctity of human life while focusing attention on many issues such as abortion, infertility, birth control, post-abortion syndrome, assisted suicide, and euthanasia.
Central Africa Medical Mission
The Central Africa Medical Mission (CAMM) has been serving the people of Zambia and Malawi for over 50 years. Health care professionals from the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) and the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) work with national staff to provide medical care to rural communities.

Reject. Resist. Recover. Conquerors through Christ is a website that provides Christian resources to help people who are caught in an addictive cycle of viewing adult pornography.
Freedom for the Captives
Freedom for the Captives seeks to empower the Christian community to respond with excellence to the sin of child abuse. They provide resources for pastors, teachers, and lay Christians that will deepen their understanding of child abuse and improve the Christian response to the physical, emotional and spiritual impact of maltreatment. They also have resources for survivors including recommended readings and guidance in selecting counseling or other services.
Institutional Ministries is a nonprofit organization established in 1901 that ministers to people throughout the upper Midwest, who are living in correctional facilities, drug and alcohol treatment centers, hospitals, mental health centers and extended care facilities, as well as through Aftercare support groups.
Kingdom Workers is a global, Christian non-profit that mobilizes believers to meet the physical and spiritual needs of communities around the world. They advance the gospel by partnering with local churches and their communities to discover and overcome their greatest obstacles together. The healing experienced results in lasting change that glorifies God.
Lutheran Home Association
The Lutheran Home Association has five communities throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin that seek to address both the physical and spiritual needs of adults with special needs or living arrangements. Each community offers varying levels of care, from independent living to assisted living and memory care.
The Organization of WELS Seniors (OWLS) offers an active alternative to inactivity for people retired and/or 50 years old. To hundreds of members throughout the United States, this organization provides a sense of active purpose. Through involvement, fellowship, mutual support, life enrichment activities and service to others, OWLS members are encouraged and helped to be all that they can be.
Lutherans for Life
WELS Lutherans for Life is committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental place for individuals to sort through the hard decisions surrounding unplanned pregnancies and lifestyle issues. They aim to equip each client to make their own informed decision and to assure them they are not walking this hard path alone. They work to meet the needs of women in our community facing unintended pregnancies and believe that every life has a purpose and every life deserves a chance. Through education, prevention, emotional support, spiritual engagement, and material assistance we help the women and men we serve to be informed, understand their options, and make the right choice.
WELS Special Ministries
The Commission on Special Ministries offers spiritual and other services to people whose needs are not adequately met by the regular ministries of WELS parishes, schools, and agencies. They serve people who are physically, mentally, or emotionally in need of special consideration in regard to their ability to learn, worship, and participate in local ministries and everyday living situations. They also serve thousands of people who are away from their church home, such as military personnel, people living overseas, and those in prison or some other institution.
Motivated solely by the gospel, WELS Women’s Ministry exists to assist our congregations in nurturing, encouraging and equipping women to faithfully and fully use their God-given gifts to glorify God.
