There is an article by Dr.Carlo Piraino, the WLC adjunct professor teaching the 2015 fall online parish nurse course offered through Wisconsin Lutheran College. The Antioch II Foundation has awarded a grant to assist with the course tuition!

The May CAMM Update has just been posted with a letter from Alison who is very grateful for the work that the village staff members have been doing at the Suzi and Msambo clinics since completing their permaculture training. They have been working hard to continue the sustainable organic year round gardening and farming practices they learned and have been enthusiastically sharing what they’ve learned with anyone that asks. To read more click on the CAMM sidebar and then the Monthly Update to read it for yourself! The online Parish Nurse Course will be offered again by Wisconsin Lutheran College and WELS Parish Nurses in the fall of 2015! An Antioch II Foundation Grant has been awarded to provide help with tuition costs! More information under the "Announcements"!


The WELS Women's Ministry have added a new page to their website, called "Compassionate Care." It includes resources for visiting people (devotions, prayers, hymn verses, scripture). A great resource for a nurse starting to make visits to a shut-in! They are downloadable, ready to print and go! Click Here to check out their website.
